The U.S. Forest Service from Ely brought their de Havilland Beaver to Buffalo and spoke about current aviation jobs in the U.S. Forest Service.

Wayne Flury, right, and others with EAA Chapter 878 out of Maple Lake and Buffalo, had a booth at the show and all were very happy to be there.
Many flew in for the event.
Buffalo Municipal was a perfect place to meet. Also thanks to Friends of the Buffalo Airport who were so helpful.
Patrick Halligan, center, presented two scholarships on behalf of the MN Pilots Assocaition. At left is Samantha Ripley. She attends UND. At right is Joseph Taylor. He received the Captain Edward L. Erickson Scholarship and he also attends UND. Riple is a private pilot who is working on her instrument rating and commercial certificate. She is working on her CFII ratings.Taylor is also a private pilot and working on his commercial instrument rating. Congratulations to both winners!

Dr, Randy Corfman awards EAA Chapter 1174 of Fergus Falls for volunteerting the most Young Eagle flights in 2018, which was an incredible 413 flights.
Wipaire was also there.
The Minnesota Pilots Association met on Friday and Saturday, April 26-26, at a new location this year, Buffalo Municipal Airport west of the Twin Cities for their Great Minnesota Aviation Gathering (CMAG) in which there were seminars, meetings, and vendors in which they could meet in person. This new place was welcomed by both the pilots attending, and the city of Buffalo. We will be publishing these photos and also some more next month.
