Cirrus Aircraft out and about

A note from Gary Black about recent Cirrus activities and events

Ol' stomping grounds

We displayed our 7,000th Edition SR22T and Vision Jet on the aircraft carrier, USS MIDWAY CV-41, in San Diego. I flew off this carrier in 1985-1987 .

It was great to show over 500 of our Cirrus partners in sales, service and training from around the world my old stomping grounds during Cirrus Customer Experience (CX 2018). PS, what is that black and white striped thing under the jet?

Platinum Athens Blue

I also have the first 2018 SR22 G6 demo aircraft in Platinum Athens Blue over Sterling with Superior Blue leather seats. It looks and flies amazing!

I flew it out to San Diego and back with 3 coworkers to break in the engine and enjoyed flying over Angel Fire, New Mexico, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Lake Powell and Moab, Utah This country is spectacular from a Cirrus.

Fun Super Bowl fact

I was on display with our 7,000th Edition SR22T outside Elliot Aviation at the Flying Cloud Airport (FCM) during the Super Bowl Weekend. Our VP of Marketing, Ben Kowalski, flew it up from Knoxville, Tennessee.

Open house

We had about 120 attendees for our Minnesota Business Aircraft Association luncheon and 60 Cirrus owners and guests for our evening Cirrus Now event at Premier Jet in Eden Prairie in March.

Your personal invitation

I am always open to offer a Cirrus factory tour in Duluth. We have 50 SR's on the line and 20 Vision jets at any given time. We have some SR demo slots available starting in June.
